OrthoSync is an IBJI program designed to help you optimize your recovery after surgery. You will meet with a physical therapist to create a customized recovery plan that suits your needs for you to share with your family and care providers.

The OrthoSync Connect mobile app complements the pre-op evaluation by providing your care plan at the tip of your fingers with real-time updates and interactive check-ins to help you stay on track. With OrthoSync Connect, you also have a wealth of information available based on your specific surgery type and the ability to message with the OrthoSync team.

Get Started with OrthoSync Connect

If you are an OrthoSync patient, follow these steps to start using OrthoSync Connect:

Download the OrthoSync Connect app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. You can search your app store for OrthoSync Connect or IBJI to find it as well.

Make sure you have the email you received from OrthoSync that contains the unique 6-digit PIN for your activation. If you didn’t receive the email or don’t have access to it any longer, please email support@orthosync.app or Call (847) 324-3977.

After downloading, tap on the OrthoSync Connect app on your phone to get started. You will be asked to enter the 6-digit PIN from your introductory email and confirm your Date of Birth.

After activating your account, you will be asked to create a security code to access the app securely moving forward. If your phone supports fingerprint or face unlock, you will also be given the opportunity to set those options up as well for faster, more secure access.

That’s it! You’re all set. You will be given a quick walkthrough of the 3 main features or you can skip the tutorial and jump right into the app. Great job!

Features

The Guide tab is your main home screen in OrthoSync Connect. It provides your customized recovery plan and timely notifications for key milestones. We will also ask you to check-in after your surgery on occasion to let us know how you’re doing.

The Assist tab allows you to view a library of frequently asked questions. These FAQs help to answer commonly asked questions that you may encounter during your planning and recovery.

The Assist tab also allows you to communicate with the OrthoSync team about updates in your recovery and to help with any questions you may have. As a reminder, medication refill requests cannot be fulfilled through this communication channel. You must contact your physician's office directly by phone.

The Team tab allows you to indicate family or friends you would like to include in your recovery pathway and communication. The OrthoSync team and your surgeon can communicate with your team members to provide updates when needed.

The Profile tab allows you to update your name, profile photo, and set your security preferences.

Security & Privacy

We built OrthoSync Connect with security and privacy in-mind from the start. Before you begin using the app, we provide a secure onboarding process and encourage the use of the strongest available security measures your phone supports. Additionally, the OrthoSync Connect app only sends information to you by default as part of your care. If you would like to provide feedback through the app, it's your choice but is not required for your planning or recovery. This is an optional add-on to your care plan that we hope you will find helpful!
